The aim of the project is to develop and experimentally test an intelligent, cross-technology digitization solution for sector-coupled energy storage systems. For this purpose, a universal gateway solution is to be developed that combines automation and energy technology know-how. An intelligent and networkable automation component for energy storage systems will be provided, which enables efficient and technology-neutral sector coupling. New methods of digitalization and automation will be investigated as well as implemented. The implementation of the methods aims to contribute to increasing energy efficiency and security of supply.
